Sporting Bodies Combine To Create The Ultimate Sport
The new sport will be a combination of Soccer, Tennis, Golf, Rugby, Basketball and Mixed Martial Arts. However the sport will also contain mini-games inspired by other sports not included above.
The official guide on how to play has been released and has already had major television networks bidding for broadcast rights. Over the next few weeks, Comedy Central Bench Warmers will release the guide to God Ball in six hectic parts.
This week we will look at Round 1 and the basic team set up:
The aim of God Ball is to create the ultimate sport that anyone and no one can play at the same time. The game is played between two opposing teams: Team A and Team B. Each team can decide to play with anywhere between one player up to a maximum of eleven players.
The God Zone (where the sport will be played) is the size of a golf course and includes within it: a rugby field, tennis court/basketball court and a mixed martial arts cage.
Round 1: Golf
Round one sees a player from Team A start off by hitting a golf ball.
Wherever the golf ball lands, Team A players must then ride horses while passing a soccer ball to one another using polo sticks.
Meanwhile Team B must ride to the location where the golf ball has landed and set up a goal to defend the area from the oncoming team whose aim is to get the soccer ball in the goal.
If Team A are successful in scoring a goal they can then decide to play the opposition in a game of Rugby Chess or Basketball Checkers. These two games will be explained next week. If Team A don’t score with the soccer ball then Team B gets to decide which of these two games to play.
Join us next week for an in depth explanation of Round 2. And keep your eyeballs on this space for future team and player profiles!
