NFL Claims Concussed Players Don't Follow Up Complaints About Concussions

The NFL chairman has stated that players who have experienced concussions simply don’t follow up with the necessary reporting procedure required by the league.

The current commissioner of the NFL – Roger Goodell – has come under heavy criticism over the crisis plaguing the NFL. However Mr Goodell stated Monday:

“we have a very clear, easy to use, official process for players to report, follow up and enquire about the problems that arise from concussions. However, many of them simply do not follow up, or in many circumstances fail to submit applications to begin with.”

Comedy Central attempted to contact players who have sustained serious concussions in the past, however we are yet to hear back from them.
